“Uzhgorod is a glue city” – the bikers at the «Music Bike Ukraine -2013» festival say (PHOTOS)

The three-day major festival of biker music "Music Bike Ukraine -2013" has finished. Without a doubt, this event has adequately represented our city at the Ukrainian and international levels, given the number of participants. The festival was attended not only by bikers from all over the world, but also by indigenous Uzhgorod residents who photographed motorcycles and for more than 3 hours were waiting under the stage for the performance of the famous Finnish band "The Rasmus".

Friendly atmosphere and people who came to relax and socialize with fellow bikers from other countries (most of them meet each other only at such gatherings) – merry guys who appreciate freedom. They enjoy the fun, the taste of life that is different from the conventional, and it adds peculiarity to their personalities.

I had the opportunity to talk to some of those who came to Uzhgorod on their iron horses and have no regret about it.        

As it was announced earlier, the legendary Finnish rock band "The Rasmus" came to the regional center, at the "Music Bike Ukraine -2013" festival – they sang about a dozen of songs, the festival revived almost at midnight. The fact that the band did not come on time was easily explained – "The Rasmus" are very scrupulous about the quality of sound and therefore it took a few hours to set up the equipment. But the long wait was over, and finally the guys, whose faces we had seen only on the posters that were placed all over the city and on music channels, came out on the stage.

The concert continued, but after the performance of the Finnish band, the audience began to leave the park en masse, the excitement disappeared. But, among the guests, a former son-in-law of the political activist Yulia Tymoshenko – British rocker Sean Carr – was noticed, and it unequivocally added even greater value to the festival.

This year’s "Music Bike Ukraine" festival can be considered completed, the organization was top notch. The event created the pleasant atmosphere.

The motto that is written on one of the bikes: "Four wheels carry the body, but two carry the soul" – aptly highlights what unites all bikers, who year after year come for common vacation in different parts of the world.
