Uzhgorod introduces European technology

40 LED lamps were installed on Mozhaisky street, the page "Uzhgorod" in social networks informed.

Note: according to experts, replacement of conventional lamps with LED can reduce cost of electricity by 60-90%. As the Head of City Improvement Department of Uzhgorod City Council Oleksandra Turyanchyk told the Chas Zakarparttya, our outdoor lighting modernization program is fully funded from the local budget, 2,400,000 UAH is provided for the current year. The arrangement of street lighting is planned within 42 blocks and 50 streets, where there is no network.
