Uzhgorod health care lacks six and a half million hryvnias (DOCUMENT)

During the first six months of the year, almost 36 and a half million hryvnias from the city budget were supposed to be spent for the needs of the regional center health care, instead only about 30 million of that amount have been actually used.

This became known from the Executive Committee draft decision "On the results of budget implementation for the 1st half of 2013". Special health care programs were supposed to receive 908,000 UAH, instead only 463,000 UAH have been alloctaed.

City hospitals were supposed to receive 20 million hryvnias, while they received only around 16 million.

Also. the funding for improvement of the city was not implemented fully: for the six months, almost 6 million hryvnias were supposed to be spent for it, while under 4 million have actually been allocated.

5 and a half million hryvnias have been actually allocated for art and culture in the regional center, while 7 and a half million was planned.

 104,000 UAH were planned to be allocated for the support of the media (i.e. the newspaper "Uzhgorod") for 6 months, instead they allocated only a little over half of that – 68,000 UAH.

The report on the financial performance for the first half of the year, shall be approved by the executive committee tomorrow and sent for further approval by the City Council session.
