The son of the ex-mayor of Uzhgorod Andriy Pogorelov is registered as a candidate for people’s deputies in Uzhgorod.

Yesterday, September 24, the name of the son of the former Uzhgorod mayor Victor Pogorelov appeared in the list of candidates for people’s deputies of Ukraine registered for early parliamentary election to be held in October 26, 2014, in single-member constituencies established within the Transcarpathian region.
The CEC at its meeting registered in the single-member constituency number 68 Andriy Pogorelov, who was born May 6, 1977 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian region, has higher education, temporarily unemployed, no party affiliation, lives in Uzhgorod. He decided to run to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by self-nomination.
Recall that A.Pogorelov – Uzhgorod City Council deputy, son of the ex-mayor of Uzhgorod, a member of the Party of Regions Victor Pogorelov – at the last presidential elections in Ukraine headed Yulia Tymoshenko’s election headquarters in the constituency №69 centered in Uzhgorod. Andriy Pogorelov adhered to "anti-Maidan" position, which is evident not only in his private conversations and actions. In particular, A.Pogorelov participated in the organization of the Anti-Maidan in Uzhgorod and sent people to Anti-Maidan in Kyiv.
