September 21, Uzhgorod Federation of martial arts, together with the fundraising initiative "Doing good is easy" visited the children’s ward of Uzhgorod district hospital number 1 in Chop.
They collected for young patients hygiene products: shampoo, powder, baby creams and oil, diapers; medicines, "Linex", "Lactovit", "Hilak forte", "Lactofiltrum", "Ferrum-Lek", "Suprastin", "Canephron", as well as toys, clothing and baby food.
The ward serves 16,700 children. Currently, there are 12 babies with parents and five abandoned children in the hospital.
Yevhen Molnar, the president of the NGO "UMAF" talked with Galina Palushka, the Head of the children’s department, non-staff district therapist. He said: "This woman does everything on her own. Currently, the ward is undergoing renovation work to improve conditions and extend premises, so the hospital needs a lot of things. We promised that we would continue to fully support this institution, because children are our future."
