Uzhgorod executive committee granted the “Vodokanal” right to adjust the schedule of water supply

Yesterday, at the meeting of Uzhgorod city executive committee, they adopted the decision that allows the MU "Vodokanal Uzhgorod" to make changes to the schedule of water supply in the city, but that does not mean that the water will be supplied for shorter periods or at a different time than before. The permission granted to the company is a potential leverage to take action if they do not receive payments.

Administration of the MU "Vodokanal Uzhgorod" inform citizens about this extreme measure that is not going to be used for now. The need to form a new water supply schedule may emerge only if the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC limits the water utility in the power supply. Therefore, they ask their customers to understand the possibility of introducing this measure and to timely pay for the services rendered.

Recall that the "Vodokanal" will start disconnecting defaulters in early spring. The amount of debt leading to disconnection of users from the sewage services is one thousand hryvnia or more.
