Uzhgorod educators will be punished for school exactions – officially

The meeting of the commission, which investigated, in particular, the recent events in Uzhgorod educational institutions, which caused a significant public response, took place today at the Education Department of Uzhgorod City Council. The meeting was attended by heads and employees of educational institutions, leaders of the education trade union of Uzhgorod, the Department for the Prevention and Counteraction of Corruption and the Interaction with the Law-Enforcement Bodies of the City Council.

The commission decided to recommend the head of the Education Department of the City Council to discipline the following directors and employees of educational institutions of Uzhgorod:
 – director of the educational complex "Prestige" Natalia Hrytsenko;
 – teachers of the educational complex "Prestige" Lyubov Pylnyk;
 – director of the secondary school №19 Svitlana Vashchuk;
 – deputy director of the secondary school №19 Vira Zakharkevich;
 – director of the secondary school №5 Petro Kindyukh;
 – director of the pre-school №39 "Zhuravlyk" Olga Fuchko.

The check of the documents for each case for making a decision on disciplinary action is to be completed tomorrow.
