Uzhgorod drug dealer was taken into custody (PHOTOS)

A suspect in drug dealing was detained in Uzhgorod, the press service of the Transcarpathian regional prosecutor’s office reported
The investigating judge of Uzhgorod city and district court sustained the petition of the investigator to take into custody for 60 days a 20-year-old Transcarpathian suspected of illegal sales of psychotropic substances (Part 1 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Also, the judge determined an alternative pre-trial restraint in the form of bail in the amount of more than UAH 168 thousand. Recall that on July 25, 2020, on Mynaiska Street in Uzhgorod, law enforcement officers stopped a taxi, in which the suspect was returning from the village of Mynai after delivering the "goods" to a client. Currently, further pre-trial investigation in this case is being carried out by investigators of the Uzhgorod District Police Department. Necessary examinations are scheduled, as well as measures are being taken to identify other possible participants. The Uzhgorod local prosecutor’s office provides procedural control over the course of the investigation.
