The car rally in support of Euromaidan took place in Uzhgorod for the second time. Fifty car owners drove the main streets of the city and with horn signals called fellows for decisive action, in particular, if possible, to go to Kyiv.
Mr. Mykhailo is one of the participants of the car rally. The driver with 40 years experience came to support protesters because he is sure – the future of Ukraine is in Europe, and with the current regime we are not going to be there soon, "I think that society, both young people, and people of my retirement age, do not see any direction, other than to Europe.Our ancestors have been in Yakutia, Magadan, and we are well aware what a "bright future" is there. This prospect is not very enticing neither for my children nor for grandchildren. And Europe is a different game. They are at least fifty years ahead of our eastern neighbors."
The participant of the motor rally in support of Euromaidan Volodymyr Bilonka added: "The idea to hold the rally came after today crackdown of protesters in Kyiv.The drivers gathered in order to bring information to the residents of the city, so that they were not indifferent but came out and fought. We need to be more active and not give up. We will fight together to the end."
All drivers in the convoy decorated their cars with yellow and blue flags and ribbons. By the way, the drivers complained to us that after visiting several stores in Uzhgorod, they could not buy Ukrainian and European flags and symbols.
