There is reason to believe that the government will support two persons for the Mayor of Uzhgorod. However, one – officially and publicly, and the other one – "in practice".
This was stated by the Mukachevo.net citing its own sources.
All power structures and available resources of the UDAR and the Petro Poroshenko Bloc in the regional center will be working for the former BYuT member Mykhailo Kachur, as well as the eternal candidate for the mayoral chair Serhiy Ratushniak.
– The ideal scenario devised in the headquarters is to get Ratushniak and Kachur to the second round of the mayoral election in Uzhgorod, because both of them are so to say "their people". And no matter who wins in the second round, Moskal and Patskan will be able to report to Kyiv that they have taken Uzhgorod.
The same information was confirmed in the Batkivshchyna, which Mykhailo Kachur left for the party in power.
