Uzhgorod deputies voted for granting the titles “Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod” and “Honorary Distinction of the City Council”

The deputies voted for those decisions at today’s session of Uzhgorod city council. 

The CEO of the "Zakarptsadvynprom", director of the JV "Uzhgorod Cognac Factory" Honored Worker of Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Hisem and professor of management and innovation development of education department of the Transcarpathian Institute of Postgraduate Education Vasyl Khymynets became Honorary Citizens of Uzhgorod.

The title of Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod was posthumously granted to Naum Repkin, the former director of the MU "Misksvitlo", the founder of the charity foundation "From Artists to Children". 

The deputies of the city council also voted to grant the title of the holder of the "Honorary Distinction of Uzhgorod City Council" to:
CHEIMA IRINA – French language teacher of the secondary school No. 7 of Uzhgorod city council, for high professionalism, conscientious performance of official duties, public activity, training of prize-winners in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad;
FEDKO RUSLAN – the head of the Pregnancy Pathology Department of the Communal Non-Profit Enterprise "Uzhgorod City Maternity Hospital", for high professionalism, many years of work, significant personal contribution to the development of obstetrics and gynecology, innovative techniques;
MEDICAL AND SOCIAL REHABILITATION CENTER "WAY OF LIFE" and KYRYLENKO OLEG – the director of the Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center "Way of Life" for high professionalism, long and conscientious work, active life position, creation of a system of comprehensive rehabilitation: social, psychological and pedagogical, speech therapy, medical support of children and people with disabilities in the city of Uzhgorod and creation of proper conditions for their comprehensive development and integration into society and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Center;
YAKUB NATALIA – the director of the "AVE Uzhgorod" LLC, for ensuring proper sanitary condition of the city and surrounding territories, creating favorable conditions for the city’s development in the field of environmental protection, active direct participation in social and educational activities regarding proper waste sorting and creation of an eco-friendly European city;

CHEMET OLEKSANDR – the Chairman of the "Chornobyl Ukraine Union" in the city of Uzhgorod, Colonel of the Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Transcarpathian Regional Oncological Dispensary, for his active life position, personal organizing abilities, persistent work, which contributes to the successful accomplishment of the tasks of providing support to Chornobyl disaster liquidators of Uzhgorod and providing guarantees for social protection of Chernobyl disaster liquidators and nuclear test participants;

PAVLYSHYN LYUBOV – member of the Youth Association of the Transcarpathian Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, translator of fiction literature, for active literary creativity, fruitful activity in the field of fine arts of the region, participation in all-Ukrainian and international seminars;

FEDYKOVYCH PAVLO – Honored Agricultural Worker of Ukraine, for active public position, significant personal contribution to the socio-economic development of the city, improvement of living standards and well-being of the territorial community;

ANDRIYIV OLGA – Chief Nurse of the "Diamed Medical Center" LLC, for high professionalism, diligent work and significant contribution to the development of Uzhgorod medical industry;

TSANKO VICTORIA – the Chief Conductor of the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Honored Artist of Ukraine – for active concert and performing activity and high professionalism;

ROTARY CLUB "UZHGOROD" – for a significant contribution to solving the problems of social protection of the city’s population.
