Uzhgorod deputies vote for “packages.” But not for land

The deputies of Uzhgorod City Council voted for dozens of items on the agenda without their consideration at the meeting. They "automatically" passed draft decisions involving changes in key programs for urban development. Mostly, it concerns budget reallocations. Thus, they changed programs for condominiums support, modernization of elevators, energy saving, environmental protection, reconstruction of street lighting and so on.

Also the Vodokanal was exempted from paying part of the income tax to the city budget.

But most of the land issues – in particular, the allocation of plots on lease for 5 years – are subject to discussion.
