Uzhgorod deputies supported the program of activities of the Medical and Social Center “Way of Life”

The program of activities of the medical and social rehabilitation center "Way of Life" in 2021 was supported at the session.

Medical and Social Center "Way of Life" is the only institution for medical, social, psychological and pedagogical rehabilitation of persons with physical and mental disabilities in Uzhgorod. This field of ​​rehabilitation needs significant support, so funding was provided in the amount of UAH 3 million 820,600 thousand.

Today, 365 people are registered in the medical and social rehabilitation center "Way of Life". All of them have certain physical and mental disabilities.

47 children with developmental disabilities make up the permanent contingent of the Center and receive psychological and speech therapy correction.

22 young people with intellectual disabilities attend the group of social rehabilitation of the disabled.

14 children are participating in the integration program (school education in the lyceum "Leader" of the Secondary School № 20, Secondary School № 8).

112 children of non-permanent contingent are undergoing rehabilitation at the Center.

170 children are involved in the socio-cultural programs of the Center.

The staff of the center is 30 people.
