Uzhgorod deputies said “no!” to outdoor advertising in the city center

The deputies of Uzhgorod City Council decided to supplement the annual plan of the City Council and the Executive Committee for the preparation of draft regulatory acts for 2018 with the project "On regulation of the placement of outdoor advertising."

The essence of this draft regulatory act is a ban on the placement of outdoor advertising in the central area of the city.  
Its adoption is necessary to improve the procedure of placement of outdoor advertising objects in Uzhgorod, preserve the authenticity of the historical environment of the city and increase its tourist attractiveness, the Uzhgorod City Council informed.
