The issue of sales of Uzhgorod municipal property is once again submitted to the agenda of the City Council meeting on July 9. The corresponding draft decision is published on the website of the City Council.
Earlier, the attempts to sell municipal property caused opposition of public activists. The public hearings were conducted, where it was agreed that the facilities should be left in lease, because the real estate prices now are low.
The issue has been submitted at the session several times – once it did not receive sufficient number of votes, another time – the mayor immediately removed it from the agenda. Among the objects, there are premises in the center of Uzhgorod – Teatralna Sq. 7a – which are now rented out for less than 1500 UAH.
