The girl, that was injuried by a falling tree in Uzhgorod, is being taken care of by the best doctors… in Mukachevo Regional Children Hospital. The child’s condition is still serious, further surgeries are necessary.
As you know, 12-year-old Uzhgorod schoolgirl Anita Biley was injured in November during tree pruning in the city of Uzhgorod. The girl was treated in the regional center, Uzhgorod city council promised to provide for her treatment. Later, the patient was transferred to the trauma department of Mukachevo Regional Children Hospital.
The girl underwent 14 surgeries in Uzhgorod. Today, the correspondent of the Holos Karpat visited Anita and asked her mother and doctors about her condition.
According to Anita’s mother Oksana, the transfer to Mukachevo became a surprise for them. But in general, she is satisfied with the conditions in Mukachevo hospital. Mrs. Oksana says that she trusts doctors and believes that they are doing everything possible for them.
However, the woman noted that at present they have not received any help from Uzhgorod city council or the company that carried out tree pruning. In addition, she is now "torn" between Uzhgorod and Mukachevo.
It is learned that tomorrow, the issue of granting 30,000 UAH financial assistance to Oksana Biley will be considered at the session of Uzhgorod city council. As for the assistance that has already been granted, in view of the ambiguous comments being spread in the print media, the city council promised to report soon.
