Uzhgorod customs officials suspected of bribery have been detained

Uzhgorod customs officers were arrested, they are suspected of bribery

Law enforcers caught officers of the customs post "Uzhgorod", who established a scheme for regular bribes.

The bribes were demanded for the unimpeded crossing of the border by Transcarpathians returning to Ukraine. Currently, one official of the customs post, who received UAH 3,000 of illegal benefit, has been taken into custody. Other members of the criminal group are being identified, – the Prosecutor’s Office of Transcarpathia informed.
