The Day of Educator was celebrated in the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN."
Over four hundred educators of Transcarpathian region gathered for the celebration. Among them, there were workers of kindergartens, schools, vocational schools and other educational institutions. Teachers, who do their best every day to bring up the younger generation, were congratulated with a concert and numerous awards. During the celebrations, they awarded 21 Voloshin educational prizes and cash awards. The Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda and the deputy chairman of the regional council Andriy Serbaylo came to congratulate educators.
During the holiday, they also honored the winners of children’s art contest "We are your talents, Transcarpathia." 36 participants were awarded and presented their best performances for their favorite teachers.
