Uzhgorod City Council will pay scholarships to the best athletes (DOCUMENT)

The procedure for paying monthly scholarships of the Uzhgorod City Council to the best athletes of the city was approved today at a regular meeting of the executive committee. 
  
This Regulation sets 15 monthly scholarships in the amount of 2000 hryvnias for the best athletes on a competitive basis, taking into account the sports results for the previous calendar year, that are paid from the city budget. 
Athletes from Uzhgorod who have won at the Olympic, Paralympic, Deaflympic, World, European, Youth Olympic Games, championships and cups of Ukraine among adults, youth and juniors can be nominated for scholarships. Athletes can be nominated for scholarships by regional and city children’s and youth sports schools, sports federations, sports clubs, and other sports organizations that are registered and located in the city of Uzhgorod. Athletes can be nominated for scholarships in 2020 until June 15, and in subsequent years – until November 15 at the Department of Youth and Sports of the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Uzhgorod City Council.
