Uzhgorod city council: land and new regulations to the shouts of people (PHOTO)

The regular plenary meeting of the city council, which began with metal detectors and ended with quarrels, once again was heated.

First, the deputies allowed the privatization of several public facilities – old boiler rooms through auctions – and permitted artists to redeem their workshops.

And after that, they quite successfully voted on land issues. As emphasized by the Mayor Andriyiv, without violating the so-called moratorium. They considered the decision "On granting permissions to develop land management projects for land allocation." Among those who received the permits, there are people related to the deputies.

Members of the public complained that there is actual violation of the moratorium, because the plots are transferred into private ownership. And that the decision will lead to destruction of green areas. However…

The most scandalous was the vote on new regulations. Once again, they ignored complaints of the public about non-democratic provisions in the draft decision. And again, the majority voted for it.

After adopting another appeal to the law enforcement agencies regarding the "mining" of the City Council and a few other declarative documents, Uzhgorod deputies listened teh anthem and left.
