Uzhgorod City Council does not publish “land” decisions (document)

As you know, in Ukraine from 9 May 2011 the law " On Access to Public Information " is in effect, according to which local authorities are required to publish all decisions made within 5 working days after the decision (see paragraph 2 of Article 15 of the Law). However, web-site of Uzhgorod city council lacks certain decisions adopted by the deputies in 2012 and 2013.

As activists Transcarpathian OPORA discovered, that as of January 19, 2015 the site of City Council does not contain certain decisions that have been made on February 24, 2012 and May 31, 2013. Most of them concern the allocation of land to citizens of Ukraine.

In Uzhgorod City Council they claim that the reason of unpublished information was purely technical, and they would eliminate this fault as soon as possible.

In response to an information request of OPORA the Affairs Manager of Uzhgorod Executive Committe Daniela Gevorkyan noted that all decisions referred to in the request have been published on the website of the City Council. Currently technical reasons are being investigated. All the deficiencies related to the publication will be eliminated as soon as possible."
