Uzhgorod City Council approved the list of rules for keeping distance during quarantine

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus, the procedure for maintaining distance between people in grocery stores, pharmacies, call centers, online ordering centers, gas stations and other establishments continuing to work during the quarantine period has been approved in Uzhgorod. 
The decision was adopted at the extraordinary meeting of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies chaired by the mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv.
In accordance with the established procedure from March 21 and until the cancellation of quarantine measures:
– establishments, institutions and organizations set out in the decision of the XLV session of Uzhgorod city council of the VII convocation of March 17, 2020 №1918 (hereinafter referred to as establishments) can be visited only in case of urgent need.
– whenever possible, all visitors should wear masks.
– managers of establishments must limit the number of people being in the trading room at any given time and to place a corresponding announcement at the entrance. The safe distance between shoppers should be at least 2 meters, and markings ensuring this distance should be placed at the cash registers and at the entrance to the store.
Maximum number of people staying in the trading hall at any given time is:
– under 200 square meters – 5 persons;
– from 200 to 1000 square meters – 10 persons;
– over 1000 square meters – 1 person per 100 square meters.
– customers are forbidden to visit establishments if there is already a maximum number of visitors inside. In this case, customers should wait at the entrance at least 2 meters from each other.
Managers should also appoint staff to monitor the allowable number of visitors in the premises, ensure regular ventilation and disinfection of the premises, and set up hand hygiene stations. Establishment staff are required to use means of personal protectiion and comply with the rules for their use, as well as to observe the rules of personal hygiene.
In addition, the commission decided to forbid citizens (new visitors) to check-in at the hotels and other accommodation establishments in Uzhgorod from March 21, 2020 until the end of the quarantine, the Uzhgorod City Council reported.
