Uzhgorod City and District Court released a 16-year-old boy, who killed his own mother, on bail

This decision was taken by the panel of judges of Uzhgorod city and district court yesterday afternoon.

Thus, the defender filed a petition to change the pretrial restraint against the 16-year-old defendant from Perechyn. The latter is accused in the murder of his mother. The incident occured in June this year.

Thus, during the hearing, the defense asked the court to impose on the defendant a pretrial restraint in the form of bail. Since the risks stated by the prosecutor (hiding from justice or illegally influencing the witnesses) were expressed as assumptions, the panel of judges decided to release the defendant from custody in the courtroom.

Instead, the head of the regional educational institution with intensive military and physical training accepted bail for the juvenile. He guarantees that the minor will appear in court.

Meanwhile, the trial of the case continues.
