It is possible that one of the gems of the historic center of Uzhgorod will be pleasing the eyes of townspeople and guests in the evening too. The city administration wants to illuminate the Regional Philharmonic – synagogue that is located on Fentsyk square.
Today, at the meeting with heads of public utilities, the Mayor Bogdan Andriyiv instructed to consider the arrangement of illumination of the Regional Philharmonic building from the direction of the river.
The ancient Jewish synagogue in neo-Mauritan style is one of the most architecturally exquisite buildings of Uzhgorod, so it is a shame that it is not visible in evening panorama from the left bank part of the city and the pedestrian bridge. Professionally designed lighting at night time has already added coloring to the building of the regional council and administration on Narodna Square, the Cathedral on Voloshin street and the pedestrian bridge.
