According to the Department of Health of Uzhgorod City Council, there are enough vaccines for vaccination of children and revaccination of adults against a dangerous disease, the outbreak of which is predicted by specialists – diphtheria.
Vaccination for diphtheria for children can be done for free with whole-cell vaccine against pertussis, diphtheria and tetanus AKDP, which, according to the Ministry of Health, provides the best protection. There is also a free vaccine for the prevention of diphtheria and tetanus ADP and a vaccine for the prevention of diphtheria and tetanus with a reduced content of antigen ADP-M, which is used for adults.
The pupils of Uzhgorod kindergartens and schools of appropriate age will be vaccinated in their educational institutions after a medical examination. Uzhgorod residents, please check whether your child has been vaccinated and get vaccinated yourself for FREE in your outpatient clinics.
