Uzhgorod citizens are asked to suggest candidates for the title “Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod”

This year, the jubilee, 1125th anniversary of Uzhgorod is scheduled to be celebrated on September 14-16. Traditionally, on this occasion, the City Council honors Uzhgorod residents that made the most significant contribution to the development of the city, multiplied its achievements in the economic, educational, cultural and other fields, and actively participate in public life.
The title "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod" is awarded by the session of Uzhgorod City Council to citizens of Ukraine and other states that have especially significant merits before the city in the field of economic, scientific, cultural, educational, medical activities, enjoyed respect and authority among Uzhgorod residents and promoted the rise of its international status.
You can submit candidates for the title "Honorary Citizen of Uzhgorod". The following information is required: 
– Surname, name, patronymic.
– Biographical data.
– Place of residence, mobile phone number.
– Place of employment and occupation.
– Extended information about special merits to the city to award the title for.
– Copies of documents for obtained awards, diplomas, certificates, etc.
– Name of the company, institution or organization submitting the candidacy, contact phone numbers.
