On Wednesday, November 21, at 11:00, on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, candles will be lit near the memorial sign to the fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine at Narodna Square, 3 (next to the UzhNU administration building) and on the balcony of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
This year, Ukraine celebrates the fifth anniversary of the mass public protest rallies that took place during the Revolution of Dignity from November 2013 to February 2014 and commemorates the feat of the participants of the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity.
These days, an exhibition of photographs of the Revolution of Dignity period is also taking in the atrium of the Regional State Administration. In particular, the landmark events of Uzhgorod’s EuroMaidan are captured in over fifty works of Transcarpathian photocorrespondents.
Drivers, please note that on Wednesday, November 21, traffic and parking on the section of the road on the Narodna Square, from the UzhNU administration building to the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, will be temporarily restricted.
