Uzhgorod owners of city buses have appealed to the Uzhgorod City Council with a request to increase the city public transport fare from 4 to 5 hryvnia.
This was announced by the head of the "Uzhgorod ATP-12107" PJSC Volodymyr Kozun.
"The carriers have appealed to the City Council in December. So far, no response. If it rolls out now, then the relevant regulatory act will be adopted sometime in March. According to the previous experience, it takes up to 3 months from the submission of documents to the approval (of new fare)." – Kozun commented.
The press service of Uzhgorod City Hall do not have now any information on this appeal of the carriers and noted that the decision on increase of the fare had not been submitted for the nearest meeting of the executive committee.
Recall that the last time new bus fare was introduced in Uzhgorod was on March 14, 2016, and it amounted to 4 hryvnias.
