Uzhgorod can not use the money for construction work

During the first 9 months of the year 95% of funds to the general budget of the city have been used. However, the special fund revenues have been exceeded and amount to 112.9%, even though the proceeds from the sale of land have not been used. This was reported by the deputy head of Uzhgorod, head of financial department Svitlana Korol.

The general fund has not been used due to the decrease of jobs and payment of special bonuses. Protected items have been fulfilled by 97.5%. Meanwhile 5.605 million hryvnias are available, in the treasury. Basically this money are for protected items.

Also Svitlana Korol reported that funds for construction work have been used poorly. The reason: too much time spent on the examination of project estimates. Also regulatory and monetary valuation of the land is not fully completed. These works had to be performed by a Kyiv firm, but it set the conditions unacceptable for the city council. So now they have signed a contract with another firm. In addition, the City Council belatedly begun to optimize medicine and the appropriate commission has just begun to work. Svitlana Korol assured that by the end of the year the work would have been done.

Mayor Pogorelov proposed to approve the report of the head of the financial department and work on. Everyone concurred.
