Laureate of many national and international competitions and festivals, winner of the regional D. Zador award, the brass band of Uzhgorod Music College named after D. Zador (director – Honored Artist of Ukraine Ferenc Tomych) took part in the international online competition "TATRA OF STARS 2020-SLOVENIA", which took place from 25-27 July 2020 in Tatranska Lomnica (Slovakia)
Competitors from 12 countries – Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Moldova, Cyprus, Hungary, Spain, Uzbekistan and Czech Republic – took part in this international competition.
The international jury consisting of highly professional European experts praised the performance of the brass band from Ukrainian Uzhgorod and soloists of the orchestra and awarded the band the title "Winner of the first prize of the competition "TATRA OF STARS 2020". Source.
