Uzhgorod athletes became bronze medalists of the Streetball League final in Kyiv (PHOTOS)

Young players of the Transcarpathian sports school for children and BC "Uzhgorod-UzhNU" won the bronze medal in the finals of the Ukrainian Streetball League (USL) 3×3 2013.

The tournament was attended by more than 500 teams, 16 of which reached the finals: 4 groups of 4 teams. Our players played in the Group A with teams from Odesa, Kyiv and Mariupol.

In the play-off our team played with the team Fockers (Kyiv) and won with a score of 11-5. In the next round, our team had to play with the future champion – the team Ferro (Zaporizhzhya). Our players started the match confidently, but eventually lost with the the score 7-11.In the game for the 3rd place, Uzhgorod team played with the team Steklotara (Kyiv), showed a decent game, and eventually won with a score of 11-6.
