Today, in Uzhgorod, the team "Spartak" (Uzhgorod) won with a score of 5:2 at the International hockey tournament dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Transcarpathian hockey.
For two days, yesterday and today, six hockey teams – two Transcarpathian and 4 from Slovak cities of Snina, Kosice, Bratislava and Sobrance – were competing on the "Ice Land" rink.
Both Transcarpathian teams – "Spartak" (Uzhgorod) and "Transcarpathian bears" – reached the final. The "Bears" won silver medals of the the International Tournament, and the hockey team "Alligator" from Kosice won bronze medals.
Recall that there are two anniversaries this year: the 70th anniversary of Uzhgorod team "Spartak-46", which represented Ukraine at the championship of USSR in 1946, and the 100th anniversary of Transcarpathian hockey, the press service of Uzhgorod city council informs.
