Uzhgorod artists performed at the festival in Greece

Teachers of Uzhgorod art school for children, the folk choir "Astra" (director – Schweiger NL) and the folk instruments ensemble "Bravo" (director – Zhuzhhova AA) performed with a great success at the VII International Festival of Music "Paralia Fest" in the Greek city of Paralia.

The choir and the ensemble performed arrangements of Ukrainian and Transcarpathian folk songs. The collectives of Uzhgorod art school for children were the only participants, who represented Ukraine among the 24 collectives from 9 European countries participating in the festival. Each of their performances was followed by a loud applause.

In total, the choir and the ensemble performed twice in the cities of Paralia and Katerini. The organizers invited these groups to take part in the festival next year – the City Council informs.
