Uzhgorod airport received the first regular flight since 2016 (PHOTOS) (VIDEO)

Today, March 15, Uzhgorod Airport received the first in 2019 flight of the "Motor Sich" airline, the CFTS reported.  Thus, the airport has resumed servicing regular flights that had not been made here since the summer of 2016.

 According to the CFTS, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan was present during the arrival of the first flight at the airport.

 "We have made the first flight on the instructions of the President Petro Poroshenko. Congratulations, Uzhgorod!" – the official commented.

 Як уже писав ЦТС, рейси будуть виконуватися по маршруту Київ-Львів-Ужгород.  Виліт з Києва буде здійснюватися о 10:00, зупинка у Львові становитиме 1 годину 15 хвилин, переліт в Ужгород буде здійснюватися з 12:30 до 13:00.  Загальний час шляху з Києва в Ужгород складе 3 години.  На зворотному шляху передбачена більш тривала зупинка у Львові, через що дорога з Ужгорода до Києва займе 4 години 40 хвилин. 

As the CFTS informed, the planes will be flying on the route Kyiv-Lviv-Uzhgorod. Departure from Kyiv will be at 10:00, stop in Lviv will be 1 hour 15 minutes, flight to Uzhgorod will take place from 12:30 to 13:00. The total travel time from Kyiv to Uzhgorod will be 3 hours.     

In mid-December 2018, the State Air Traffic Service Service of Ukraine "UkSATSE" received a certificate of compliance with the norms of the European Union.  The EASA Certificate certifies that UkSATSE complies with EU norms and is the basis for obtaining from the Slovak party the rights to provide air traffic services in the part of the Slovak airspace.
