Time of departure / arrival of trains is indicated on railway tickets with account of switching to winter time, "UZ" reminds.
In addition, "UZ" notes that due to the transition to winter time October 28, 2012 at 4:00, when clocks will be reset 1 hour back, the changes to the schedule of passenger trains have been made in advance and agreed with administrations of neighboring countries.
Previously, due to the fact that the State Duma of Russian Federation considered a bill to switch to the winter time in Russia, Russian and Ukrainian railways were forced to temporarily suspend the sale of travel documents on long-distance trains. Currently pre-sale of tickets on all trains is resumed.
"Schedule of international trains was previously adjusted with foreign railway administrations of Russia, Belarus, Moldova," – noted experts of passenger department of "UZ".
The transition to winter and summer time is carried out in accordance with the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dd May 13, 1996 № 509 "On the computation of time in Ukraine." September 20, 2011 the Parliament decided to abolish the switch to winter time. However, this decision was reversed.
