On September 1, 2019 at 9.00, in the territory of the "small" school of Uzhgorod secondary school № 6, there will be an art-picnic organized by the school administration for younger students.
The program includes many workshops and various locations.
– We plan to make a real family holiday, to create an atmosphere of joy, so that this day is be remembered by both children and parents as one of the best and most fun ones, which is what the Day of Knowledge should be like. We say NO to the traditional line-up. We are abandoning conventions and confidently going to the New Ukrainian School, using the tools of the Democratic School project in which we participate,” – the organizers say.
For the youngest students of the first grades, fairy-tale characters from the children’s library "Fairy tale" under the direction of Alla Petrishak will conduct a quest.
There will be an interactive master class "Music out of nothing for children" which will be held by a member of the ASCAP World Association of Composers, winner of many prestigious awards in the field of contemporary musical design, laureate of international competitions, founder of the ALIVE creative space Maxim Fidosh. And also several workshops on non-traditional drawing techniques, applied arts, painting on gingerbread; origami, quilling; dancing, making of salty dough decorations, and more!
