State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine ("Ukrzaliznytsia") has implemented a new automated system for buying train tickets online, informs the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Passengers can use the new system of booking tickets through electronic service channels on the official site “Ukrzaliznytsia” ("Ukrainian Railways") in the menu "For passengers" or using a direct link http://booking.uz.gov.ua/. One can choose a route, find out about availability and pay for tickets online. The system provides the opportunity of payment using all existing in Ukraine non-cash ways of payment.
Work of the system is provided by a new hardware-software complex for the sale of electronic travel / transportation documents.
Automated system for tickets booking through electronic service channels has been introduced in order to expand the scope of passenger traffic services at Euro 2012.
