This year, the cultural community celebrates the 170th anniversary of Ivan Karpenko-Kary. Artists of the Transcarpathian theatre decided to honour the prominent figure with a stage version of "Wretched" – "What willows are weeping about" (written and directed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Shershun).
Viewers are invited to see the production with a lot of modern plastics (choreographer – Victor Babuka) to the best songs of the bands "Dakha Brakha" and "Perkalaba". Set design by Lyudmila Byelaya highlights an original interpretation.
