Ukrainian tried to transfer across the border more than 1,5 thousand packets of cigarettes

The citizen of Ukraine who tried to illegally move cigarettes across the state border was detained by the ‘Vylok’ checkpoint border guards yesterday, June 1, 2012. The smuggler was carrying six bags with tobacco products in the amount of 1,522 packets of cigarettes.

The offender and revealed cigarettes were delivered to the subdivision in order to draw up documents on the administrative violation. The court will give the actions assessment of the citizen who tried to illegally smuggle cigarettes. And what concerns the removed cigarettes, than they will be transferred in the prescribed manner to the Chop customs representatives, – informs the Mukachevo border guard squad press service.
