Yesterday, officers of Slovak Customs Criminal Service of the Financial Department detained two Ukrainians who were trying to sell 8.5 million cigarettes.
The raid "Puma" was conducted in Michalovce, during which they detained two our compatriots Mykola A. and Adrian F. while they were handling tobacco products for further sale. The Ukrainians are currently in the remand prison in Michalovce. They were charged with smuggling of excise goods.
The estimated value of the seized goods is 770,000 euros.
