Ukrainian language courses for Hungarians have started in Beregovo

Ukrainian language courses for local Hungarians have officially started in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute. They are conducted with the support of the Government of Hungary.

This was announced by the site mukachevo.net.

Mátyás Szilágyi – the Consul General of Hungary in Beregovo, Vasyl Brenzovych – People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Ildika Oros – the rector of the THI congratulated the students of the course.

It was noted that the training will last 120 hours. In particular, 5 groups will be formed – three in Beregovo, one in the village of Dertsen and one in Dyida. The youngest student is 5 years old, the oldest is 65.

Among the people, who wish to learn Ukrainian, there are students, accountants, doctors, school and kindergarten teachers.
