Ukrainian Fashion Bazaar is taking place in the regional center of Transcarpathia once again. But this year, the organizers led by Olga Mikula added some historical value to the event.
Ethnic clothes, wreaths, hats in folk style are popular in Ukraine. But this year, the models demonstrated not only embroidered shirts and dresses with a modern twist. The first day was opened with the show of models dressed in authentic folk costumes from the funds of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life. Previously, recall, rare clothes was "made alive" several years ago, but only in the museum.
After the authentic clothes, there was the show of ethnic collection of the brand «NACHO» Nazarchuk & Cholak fom Lviv and a bright children’s ethnic collection.
Olga Mikula from Uzhgorod demonstrated the legacy of generations. She showed a collection of ethnic jewelery.
In turn, Tata Kalita from Lviv brought Transcarpathian viewers an ethnic collection titled "A Drop of Ethnics".
Designer Tinatin Magalashvili, who brought from Tbilisi (Georgia) an excellent collection of ready-to-wear autumn / winter 2017/18, finished the first day of the Ukrainian Fashion Bazaar.
Tomorrow, April 2, there will be no less eventful and interesting program. At 15.00, there will be a roundtable on "Fashion journalism and prospects of its development in Ukraine." Speakers: Natalia Lukyanets (Kyiv), Lilia Sushko (Lviv) and Miroslav Melnyk (Kyiv). And at 16.30, in the "Owl’s Nest", new collections from famous designers will be shown.
