In Uzhgorod Press Club, there was a meeting, the main theme of which was the success of Ukrainian and Transcarpathian athletes at the bodybuilding and fitness Championship of the World that was held in Budapest. The Ukrainians won the second team place among 54 countries!
Igor Baran, International Judge, a member of the executive committee of the National Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness Ukraine told about the competition. According to him, this season, Transcarpathian athletes have participated in six regional tournaments, the Championship of Ukraine (two athletes made it into the final six), another athlete took the 8th place at the competition in Slovakia. And Milena Molnar became the champion of Ukraine among adults and the silver medalist of the World Championship.
Milena Molnar, a finalist at the bodybuilding and fitness Championship of the World competes in the category Fitnesss-bikini. "I have been doing this for one and a half year. Being at the World Championship was something incredible for me. It was my dream. It was great to take part first in the Championship of Ukraine where I won gold medal. As for the World Championship, it was nice to stand on the stage with my idols. I follow their lives in "Instagram", motivate myself with their achievements, and I am glad to motivate others. And at the championship, I was standing next to my idols and even one step above them" – the athlete said.
The championship was attended by 54 countries, more than 500 participants.
