Ukrainian and German law enforcement officers shared their experiences in conducting border control (PHOTOS)

The training on working with identification documents with the participation of specialists of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the German federal police took place at the checkpoint "Tisa".

In the framework of the bilateral cooperation, German experts demonstrated Ukrainian colleagues their methods of identification of stolen and forged documents, student cards and photos. They told what should be paid attention to and how to recognize forgery. They shared experience in the use of modern methods in the production of fake passports.

This is not the first time such training is held in Ukraine. In early October, a similar event was held at the department of border guard service "Rava-Ruska". Since 2005, German colleagues from time to time provide information and financial support to Ukrainian border guards. Exchange of information, cooperation between departments in international airports has been established. There also have been regular meetings of the heads of the departments (the last one in June 2010 in Ukraine). About 110 experts of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine took part in visits to the Federal Police departments in different areas. By the end of 2015, more than 60 people will have been be trained with the assistance of the Federal Police of Germany.
