Ukraine ranked first in the world by the number of taxes

We can congradulate everyone and no one in particular. Ukraine’s economy has nothing to fear.

According to the World Bank, in 2011, Ukraine ranked first in the world in terms of taxes paid. Not the amount of taxes, but their quantity. The World Bank has estimated that Ukrainian business in one form or another pays 135 different taxes. This is an absolute world record. Romania ranked second in the ranking of the World Bank. But it is a "softie" compared to our country. It has only 113 taxes. The third place is occupied by Jamaica with only 72 taxes.

It is good to know that the Ukrainian economy has such well developed tax system.

Think for yourselves, how can one live in a country such as Hong Kong (although it is not really a country, just a peninsula)? There are only 3 taxes there. Or in Georgia, Sweden, Norway, where there are only 4 taxes. Thank God that at least in Singapore they have five taxes.

In France there are only 7 taxes. And in the UK, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Finland – only 8. In the U.S. there are 11 taxes, that is at least something.

It is difficult to imagine how hard it must be in these countries for accountants. So, they come to work and they just do nothing. Poor people. And the auditors? Not to mention inspectors. What do they have to inspect?

Whatever you may say, but in our country they know how to organize the work. Our accountants have plenty of work, and the inspectors are always "well fed and happy."
