German insurer Allianz has presented the "Report on the global wealth in 2012," which compared countries in terms of income of their citizens.
The subject of the analysis were 52 states whose combined GDP is 90% of total world GDP.
The first in the rating is Switzerland, where last year one citizen on average had € 138 thousand. On the second position is Japan with € 93 thousand, USA is on the third position (€ 90,4 thousand), the fourth is Belgium (€ 68,5 thousand), and the fifth – Netherlands (€ 61,3 thousand).
Ukraine, whose citizens in 2001 had at their disposal € 928, is on the 49th position, hitting the ten countries with the lowest incomes.
