Ukraine has resumed natural gas imports from Hungary on Thursday, January 5, in the amount of 5.6 million cubic meters per day.
This was stated by the press service of the gas transmission system operator "Ukrtransgaz", the "Ukrainski Novyny" inform.
"This morning, we resumed gas supplies from Hungary at 5.6 million cubic meters per day," – the spokesperson of the GTS operator Maxim Bieliavsky said.
According to him, the "Ukrtransgaz" soon expects to resume gas supply from Poland.
As reported, since February 1, Ukraine has reduced natural gas imports from Hungary by 99.8% to 5,000 cubic meters per day.
In January, Ukraine imported about 63.348 million cubic meters of natural gas through Hungary.
In January, the daily amount of gas imports from Hungary averaged 3.2 million cubic meters per day.
