In November 2013, Ukraine reduced natural gas imports from Hungary compared to the previous month almost twice – to 134.021 million cubic meters from 222.1 million cubic meters
This was reported by the Hungarian gas transmission system operator FGSZ Ltd, the "UNIAN" informed.
According to the Hungarian operator, average daily gas supplies in November decreased twice compared to that in October – 4.5 million cubic meters. Since the beginning of the year, natural gas supplies to Ukraine from the territory of Hungary amounted to 1.034 billion cubic meters.
Recall that Ukraine is developing the reverse routes of gas supplies from Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.
Opening of all four tracks will allow Ukraine to increase annual gas deliveries to 30 billion cubic meters. The most promising route for gas supplies to Ukraine is the Slovak one.
According to the Minister of Energy and Mines Eduard Stavitsky, this week Slovakia and Ukraine will sign an agreement on reverse gas supplies to Ukraine in amount of over 10 billion cubic meters.
