Ukraine set a new anti-record and took first place in the ranking of countries suffering from the slave trade.
Annual analysis of the International Organization for Migration, compiled on the basis of the official number of people seeking help from IOM, showed that in 2011, 835 people from Ukraine asked for help. And since 1991, more than 120,000 Ukrainian women, men and children have saught for help.
The "top" three also includes Haiti and Yemen. The top ten includes Laos, Uzbekistan, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Belarus, Ethiopia.
Among the countries, where slaves are exploited the most, the "leading" place is occupied by Russia (837 applications in 2011).
