Ukraine and Romania this week will celebrate the Day of Neighborliness

On Friday, April 22, the Ukrainian-Romanian Day of Neighborliness will take place in the village of Mikula in Satu Mare county (Romania).

        The meeting of the official delegation will begin at 10 am at the international checkpoint "Halmeu-Dyakove" in Vynogradiv District. After the arrival of the delegation to the village of Mikula, at 11.00, the official opening of the event will take place.

 The Ukrainian delegation will consist of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal, the Acting Chairman of the Regional Council Yosyp Borto. In Romania they will be welcomed by the Chairman of Satu Mare County Council Adrian Stef, the head of the Union of Ukrainians in Romania Mykola Petretsky, the head of the village of Mikula Stefan Dobos.
        The heads of Transcarpathia and Satu Mare will sign Joint action plan. The festive program will include a concert with the participation of vocal and folk groups of Romania and the variety-brass band of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic under the direction of Volodymyr Spivak.

        So, the second after 13 year hiatus Day of Neighbourliness of Ukraine and Romania this time will be held in the territory of the neighboring country. The first one, recall, took place last year in Rakhiv district, in the village of Bila Tserkva on the initiative of the head of the region Hennadiy Moskal.
